About me

Michelle Jackson studied printed Textile Design in The National College of Art and Design and kicked off her career as a sock designer.

Michelle enjoyed many years as an art teacher in Malahide Community School from 1991 until 2008. She also lectured in the history and appreciation of fashion at St Aldates College Oxford for a year in 1998.

She has been writing since 2005 and early in 2009 signed a new six book deal with her publisher Poolbeg.

She lives in Howth, Co. Dublin, with her husband and two children.
